21st century Community Learning Center (CCLC)
after school program
Lamar county has one 21st CCLC Grant site this year, South Lamar S.P.I.R.I.T Club. The 21st CCLC Program operates every school day and follows the same calendar as the school system. 21st CCLC After School Childcare Programs can only operate on campuses that have been awarded 21st CCLC grants. A grant is usually awarded for 3 years. The goal of every CCLC Program is to provide a safe and secure place for your child to enjoy activities after day school ends and before pick up time. All CCLC Programs maintain an adult to child ratio of one (1) adult to every 15 students. Safety remains the #1 issue and focus for the 21st CCLC Program. We look forward to serving you and your family in the 21st Century Community Learning Center After School Childcare Program.
